Hobbies can be divided to a few types, which is collecting, doing, making or learning. They differ according to people. What are yours? For most people, their hobbies are just collecting stamps or may be coins, gardening, making cakes and painting. All those are simply nothing and may be too normal for some people and they need those more unusual hobbies. More and more people having so-called “cool” and “special” hobbies nowadays. Some of them may simply surprised you and make you mouth wide open, while the other can be danger, for instance, javelin catching, bee keeping.

Tornado Chasing

One of the strange hobby, which is dangerous at the same time, is no longer new to some people is tornado chasing. This kind of hobby need a lot of patience, since the hobbyist will be disappointed most of the time, which is why it is sometimes called storm hunting. It is usually carried out with storm experts, which will guide the hobbyists throughout the hunting, as they’ll get as near as possible to the tornado. Can you imagine how excited is that? Personally, I’m interested with it, but there is no tornado in my country.

Creepy Doll Collecting

Collecting doll itself is not an odd hobby, but collecting creepy doll is really weird and scary. Just thinking about it may send chills up spines of many people. Still remember the scary doll from a horror movie “Chuckie”? Not very long ago, I came across an entertainment show from Taiwan which interviewed a person who collects and sells this type of doll. Apart from the well-known Chuckie doll, he also possesses other spooky doll from other horror movie. Really dun get the point of collecting these hair-raising things (sweat…)!

Pets

Dogs? Cats? Fishes? If those are what you think, then you are wrong. What I’m trying to tell here is about ant. Having ants as pet is actually quite common in certain countries like Japan and Taiwan for quite some time. This hobby is quite popular among young generation now, especially among those young workers, which have not much time to take care of their pets. In fact, ants do not need their owner to spend too much time with them, they are able to take care themselves, which is the biggest advantage compare to other pets. Besides, somehow most of the hobbyists believe that having ants as pets help them relax, as ants do not make noise and hence make their owners feel comfortable by observing their daily life.

Please do not misunderstand here, I’m not that kind of pervert who is trying to ask you to take this as your hobby or even owning it as mine. I was told by a friend of mine the other day about this weird hobby. Of course, I do know the existing of people who keep female panties or bra as collection, but it’s not in sense of so official or commercial way. According to my friend, the Japanese SELL female panties even through vending machines. Selling is not new, but selling them everywhere on the street through vending machines is quite fresh, at least for me. In addition, he said that he come across to a funny video in YT about this culture and recommend me to watch it. You shouldn’t miss it, but beware of your denture, because it is damn funny!
