For most of the 80s’ and even 90’s, this must be a very familiar film. Undoubtedly, everyone must still remember the funny song of “chicken wing” sang by Stephen Chao (most popular Hong Kong comedian in 90’s of last century). The film almost from 20 years ago, and now the second version will be soon in cinema. Needless to say, many fans of Stephen Chao films will ask themselves whether the second version would be better than the first or may be just equally nice, since the actor is no longer Stephen Chao anymore.

From the poster, the main actor looks like wolverine. It’s kind of like china version X-men. May be they trying some new creative things again. As an example, the main actress (Chiu Xiang), is not similar with the 1993 version, acted by Gong Li, from the aspect of characteristic. According to related news of the new film, this new Chiu Xiang knows Kung Fu, not just know, but is really prowess. As a super supporter of the 1993 version, personally, I really don’t like that part.

Anyway, I think I’ll still go to watch, hopefully the film won’t disappoint me and the others, but I think i won’t expect so much for the story.
