Many people surely still remember the famous character of Singapore in comedy drama Phua Chu Kang many years ago, even don’t, most must still remember the super big mole on right hand side of his big mouth together with his easy recognized curly coconut hair style. Another must-mentioned trademark of Phua Chu Kang is his super big yellow rain boots. Now, the comedy drama is already in movie and cinema. I believe the fans of the Phua Chu Kang drama will not miss the chance to watch it in movie.

As the beginning, the movie is describing about main character Phua Chu Kang looking for his missing mother after arriving Kuala Lumpur Airport. After many hard work of seeking his Ah Ma (mother), he finally found her in a retirement home run by another main character named Lim Lao Pek (similar pronunciation of “your father” in Chinese dialect).However, story does not end here, because he come across with murder case in the old folks home. As main detective case, the main character will then take part in the investigation in order to find out the mastermind behind. The only difference this time is that PCK will be the “detective”.

Basically, the funny part of the PCK style comedy still remain in the movie. Those funny (though vulgar)Singaporean English catchphrases like “Don’t play play”, “Abuden”, “Use your brain la”, and Phua Chu Kang humorous mole twitching movement remain available in the story. Besides, there are other new laughable element embedded into the movie this time which much be self-discovered from the movie, or else it won’t be funny anymore when you watch it.

In addition, an pretty cute actress Angie Seow (as Angel)take part in the movie this time, which I personally think that the movie should be given additional credits, because I’m feel wanna vomit with Rosie’s (PCK’ wife) make up for long time already!

For decades, publics question the existence of alien. They even suspect that NASA has already gain contact with outer space civilization. It is believed that NASA which is responsible for most space projects has covered any news and information about alien. As seen in most movie, they cover the news and deny the existence of alien for many purpose, and the most famous one is to avoid publics panic. Classified and top secret (and bla bla bla…) are the most heard popular words in this type of movies.

Some may just say that the movies are nothing more that fantasy. But I bet you will change you mind if u know these. For the past 50 years, there are more than 5 million alien related cases found all over the world, and out of these numbers, 100 thousand cases are unexplainable through natural or physical phenomena. Most people believe that they were done by creatures beyond human civilization.

UFO encounter case by Arnold in United Sate, the Roswell UFO case, and then projects led by US military in investigating the UFO phenomenon of Blue Book, Signal Plans, New Mexico White Desert Testing Ground Plan and other UFO research activities, creating a new era of UFO and alien research. All these evidences have indirectly proved that human has more than one previous contact with species from civilization outer space.

In fact, the tasks and responsibilities of NASA contains seeking extraterrestrial species and alien immigrants, though these sounds to fantasy (as if movie: Man in Black). For that, many scientists and even publics suspect that NASA covers up all information about alien.

PPS provide a few software skins to be changed. For those don’t really like the original color or design of the PPS skin, this may be a good news. The skins can be downloaded from the official website of PPS. Users can simply go to PPS software and click on skins (皮肤) under tools.

A new window as shown below will appear and you may notice that the only skin available in list is ‘vista’ which is the default skin. In order to download the other skins provided, click on the button within red circle as shown below.

The button will link user to the official website of PPS. Choose any skin you prefer and click the download link below the thumbnail to be brought to download page.

In the download page, just choose any download source you like to start download the file. Don’t worry about the network speed, because the file is negligible small. Besides, It’s also virus free.

Next, extract the downloaded file and run it. The file will be directly installed to PPS software. But, when you open PPS, it seem like still nothing has been changed. In fact, it has! Just need to do a bit more setting.

Go back to skins under tools buttons to open back the window for skin setting. You will find out something different here. Yes, you have another extra new option in the skin list, which is what you have just installed. Choose the new option and click confirm and you will have brand new PPS skin.

I was quite surprising when I found out yesterday quite many people asking the same problem. They do not know how to stop PPS autorun by starting up the window.

Actually this is common mistake of most people by installing a new software. Usually, these people will simply click the ‘OK’, ‘confirm’ or ‘next’ button without reading the options and instructions properly. For most legal or official software, they will ask the user to choose the option of allowing the autorun of corresponding software during installation. If the user do not wish the autorun, they can just unclick the allow autorun option.

For those who miss the chance of unclick the option while installation, there is also other method to ‘undo’ the mistake. Taking PPS as an example, user can simply go to tools (工具) and then options (选项) to bring up a small window as you can see in picture below.

In order to complete the steps, choose other setting or (其他设置) and then uncheck the second option as shown. Finally, click ‘confirm’ and by next restart the software will never autorun again.

Most movies and shows on PPS are not clear or low resolution in order to allow faster loading by users even with low network speed. This statement may probably disappoint some PPS fans who seek maximum visual enjoyment specifically certain animation like Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Can you imagine if these type of movies are shown in low resolution. I bet most people would rather wait for the HD version.

Luckily, PPS provides HD movies and shows as well. Them can be found in the list located in left column of the software. Click on the ‘高清影院’ link will show all categories menu of movies available in PPS. Double clicks the movie in the any categories you want and PPS will start loading.
